What is the next possibility with the DeFi community?
Recently, Defi and the blockchain community make up so much in many coverage and become one of the daily conversation even. It has become more and more like a weather forecast nowadays. Banks and big corporations are starting to study and research more and looking for more opportunities under the umbrella of decentralized finance.
DeFi in general, offers the ability to create financial products and financial markets that are faster, more fair, more transparent and more efficient by using computer devices and the knowledge of blockchain technology. DeFi is a transformative technology and the bridge for a full digital era that is coming sooner than we all expected. Some said Defi will eventually disrupt the world financial system, some even said it will disrupt world famous e-commerce platforms, the truth is that day probably came and might have already happened.
Blockchain technology is much more transparent than the current financial system, we can track the transaction and find out the beginning of the coin. Notes, in contrast, as compared to some digital coins or currency, cannot really track. It’s only from one person to another person and boom, you don’t know where it came from.
We’re not trying to say that the DeFi community is the safest place and blockchain will keep your money in a safe haven. Just like other cryptocurrency activities, DeFi comes with different types of risks. It can be the regulations, asset volatility, price, and the technology itself that could go wrong. There aren’t bank or 3rd party companies facilitating the transaction for you, therefore, there is no insurance on funds that can get lost along the way if there are errors or even human errors that occur during the transactions, or even errors from the original smart contract code.
The Defi community is growing and we are convinced that this is the next super trend that is coming. Us, Aqua Finance is also growing….maybe not in terms of the total value just yet, but what we’re trying to build and our community is stick together and keep supporting the team to move forward and keep us motivated with the positive vibes from the community.
